Since the success of Marvel movies like The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel Studios has certainly been on a roll in the movie business. Marvel Studios has been accelerating on the path of success and it will not come as a shock to the audience if Marvel Studios shows up at a Comic Con, especially the San Diego Comic Con. If all goes well we will see Marvel Studios showing up at the San Diego Comic Con but chances are that they might ditch the San Diego’s popular Comic Con too.
The makers have not made any official announcement on Marvel Studios opting out of the California-based comic con, all these are mere speculations that are abuzz and are doing the rounds. If Marvel Studios stands up to this decision then the third parts of Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and of course Ant-Man will witness a lower number of audience in the Hall H at the San Diego Comic Con. Marvel Studios will subtle the temperature of excitement this year. Such move of Marvel Studios to opt out of one of the most popular comic cons is odd at such a time.
Since Marvel Studios and Disney Studios work hand-in-hand, speculations are that this year Marvel Studios might choose to cease working with the D23 expo, which is Disney’s own con. Marvel Studios should abandon this thought as they need to do a little star-studded promotion for Ant-Man that will mark its debut in less than a week after the comic con.
Marvel Studios opting out of the hall will give a perfect opportunity to its rivals. They would obviously attempt to grab such an opportunity and fill the vacated seat vacated by Marvel Studios. Apparently, it will be Warner Bros. which already has a lot of DC Comics films on the way to promote. Big films with big exceptions like Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and Justice League Part One are among these Warner Bros. DC film productions that will be releasing anytime in the near future.
It is in the air that Marvel Studios might skip SDCC as has been predicted by The Inquisite. It has also hinted at something big for the upcoming Warner Bros. much-awaited film Batman V Superman.
Warner Bros. has oodles of big films and DC characters that will accelerate the pace of success for it. With actors like Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, and Will Smith, it will be fascinating to see how Warner Bros. works out their show at the SDCC. Marvel studios loss will prove to be a gain to Warner Bros.
